What’s new on the site?

I want to welcome you to the blog and hope you’ll sign up for an account.

We need a place to discuss economic populism, a place for Progressives to write about our views. There is no major political site that quite fits or one that’s really conducive for community building. Many Dems have “Jon Tester or Claire McCaskill” views on immigration for example while most Progressives on other issues agree with Senator Bernie Sanders or Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro Congressman Bill Pascrell represents us on professional guest worker Visas, while Sen. Sherrod Brown and Sen. Byron Dorgan are working hard on trade policy. But, that said, on any one of these issues, one can start a real alienation experience depending on which major blog one is participating in. No one seems to have the big picture or policy positions (except Congressman Peter DeFazio of course).So, I hope you’ll join and if you want to write stories, right now I have to manually upgrade your account.
