Michael Chertoff, per Bill Gates and George Bush’s demands, bypassed Congress and increased foreign guest workers through a ruling and executive order. No input from US workers, no votes, nothing. Even worse, Bill Gates claims a weakened America is a good thing!
DHS Changes Rule
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released today an interim final rule extending the period of Optional Practical Training (OPT) from 12 to 29 months for qualified F-1 non-immigrant students. The extension will be available to F-1 students with a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics who are employed by businesses enrolled in the E-Verify program
One small problem. Students graduating in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics majors are about three times the total number of new jobs created in the United States for these majors. So now, to make matters worse, DHS increases the ability to hire foreigners, insuring more Americans cannot get a job! UI
PAUL ALAMEDA, President AFL-CIO, DPE
The projection is the growth in this industry is about 120,000 jobs per year and this is in the high tech meaning math and science degrees. And we’re graduating in excess of 300,000 with bachelors, masters and PhD’s from United States universities
The below Lou Dobbs segment goes into more detail:…

Intel corporation is laying people off. That’s right, while Craig Barrett, Intel CEO, writes in the Washington Post yet another propaganda piece trying to scare Americans by claiming if the United States does not import massive cheap labor, we will fail economically, Intel is busy thrashing their workforce.
No one pointed out that Intel has been in the midst of some major downsizing. From Intel’s Form 10-K annual report, at the end of Dec 31, 2005 they had 99,900 employees. By Dec 2006 they had 94,100 and now according to Barrett it has 86,000.
The downsizing was announced sometime last year and the plan is to cut 10,000 workers.

Barrett has some chutzpah talking about shortages, but then the global wage arbitrage agenda to ultimately repress wages so workers are glorified consumer slaves knows no bounds.
The Washington Post, where the wife of Bill Gates sits on the board, buried a factual retort from John Miano via a Letter to the editor:
The Blue Card that Mr. Barrett said would mean that the “next Silicon Valley will not be in the United States” does not even exist. It is just a proposal by the E.U. bureaucracy. Because this proposal would require the approval of all E.U. members, it is unlikely…

Mitt Romney wants to send your job to China and if he can’t do that, he wants to bring in cheaper foreign labor to displace you anyway.

While Mitt Romney trudges across Iowa blasting his opponents on illegal immigration, look at how willing he is to labor arbitrage other Americans and increase guest worker Visas! While wages and costs are some of the legitimate concerns on illegal immigration, magically, middle class professionals are perfectly acceptable for displacement!
In a TechCrunch interview Romney declared:
Romney: I like H-1B visas. I like the idea of the best and brightest in the world coming here. I’d rather have them come here permanently rather than come and go, but I believe our visa program is designed to help us solve gaps in our employment pool.
Romney is brazenly ignoring the overwhelming evidence that there is no worker shortage and in fact a glut of American best and the brightest are having their careers decimated by global labor arbitrage.
The interview went on to see if Romney would increase the number of H-1B guest worker Visas.
I would like to see us increase the number of people who receive an H-1B visa and can provide skills and experience that we may not…
