Basic Economics and Monetary theory has been totally stripped from most college General Education cirriculums in exchange for the myraid of junk sociology courses on 'Womyn's Role In Modern Society' and 'Racism: why Whitey Shouldn't get a Dime of Tax Money'. The scariest of all, and this comes from personal experience, is how America sweeps is 'collateral damage' under the carpet so as not to disturb all the other functioning capitalists. Romney, Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain all want the SKIL or massive H-1B and employment green card increases. I just did a piece on Giuliani on this blog as well as Ron Paul. He is about as clueless and removed from our concerns as Bush was about the illegals. I don't see any Dem even acknowledging your concerns let alone do something about them. First the foreign students in US univs are on F1 or J1 NON-immigrant visas. They are not immigrants - then to jump to saying a US degree is an automatic entitlement to citizenship is absurd.
