The controls need to be part of the core of the American employer - the corporate charter. Sen. Grassley hit the nail on the head when he said that Microsoft "... has a moral obligation to protect these American workers by putting them first...". All American companies do - and it's time we stop dancing around the issue and demand that Government require corporations answer to someone besides their shareholders. They need to answer to the communities they (supposedly serve) and to the environment they impact. These factors need to be raised to the same importance as shareholder profit, with the risk of corporate charter revocation as enforcer, not weak regulations.
