Its actually pretty damn scary. Heaven forbid if China ever embargoed the U.S. on semi-conductors or even COT items like PC's. We'd be hosed in 12 months as systems broke down and there would be no replacement parts.

Alas, like "free" trade and labor arbitrage through H1-B and L-1 guest worker visas, this issue will go no play among the Democratic presidential candidates or even in the blogosphere for that matter.</description>
