Lou Dobbs today ran a story on Presidential candidates selling out working America to Benedict Arnold Silicon valley CEOs and their checkbooks.
The Edwards campaign did respond to CNN and claimed that now, they only want the increases if there is no qualified American. Frankly from watching his visits to Corporate lobbyists as well as India PAC I don’t quite believe that and strongly recommend you contact the campaign and ask this:
- 1. Will he speak out against raising the H-1B Visa cap currently?
- 2. Will he support this legislation below?
S.1035 : H-1B and L-1 Visa Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act of 2007 (Durbin-Grassley)
H.R.2538 : To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide greater protections to domestic and foreign workers in the H-1B nonimmigrant worker program. (Pascrell)
H.R.2504 : To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act with respect to the admission of L-1 intra-company transferee nonimmigrants. (DeLauro)
- 3. Will he post his policy position on H-1B, L-1 and other guest worker Visas on his website?
- 4. Will he stop claiming there is a worker shortage or that somehow Americans, with the best universities in the world somehow now suck in math and science who hold degrees from these very universities?
The report also said that Tom Tancredo is the only candidate with a good position for workers on H-1B.  : : That’s not quite true, Dennis Kucinich has an excellent position and voting record on H-1B and L-1 guest worker Visas.
Thanks to Rob Sanchez and Lou Dobbs for capturing the broadcast and especially Bill Tucker for investigating this.

More Betrayal
That article you added is talking about Governors now lobbying for H-1B Visas, 13 of them. Positively disgusting, there is no worker shortage.
What about the out-sourced parents who try to provide for our children and education. We must stand behind the 12 million illegals here changing our careers, over Americans right?
Thank You Corporate lobbyists, creative Democratic thinking.
Yes I’m the one who only has one candle left in the house to read by.
